Freedom Betrayed: Herbert Hoover's Secret History of the Second World War and Its Aftermath |
|
This book is Hoover’s magnum opus—at last published nearly fifty years after its completion. It offers a reexamination of World War II and the Cold War. It is an indictment of the ‘lost statesmanship’ of Franklin Roosevelt from Pearl Harbor, through the War, to the early years of the Cold War. Some may dispute Hoover’s interpretations, but none should dispute the historical significance of this book. Edited with an Introduction by George H. Nash Item #11BK01 |
