Wednesday Evening Family Movie Night, July 10 - August 14, 2013

Free admission to the museum galleries each Wednesday evening from July 10 - August 14, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A free showing of a feature length Civil War era movie will begin at 7:00 p.m. on each of these Wednesdays.

July 10, 2013, Young Mr. Lincoln. Henry Fonda. A fictionalized account of the early life of Abraham Lincoln as a young lawyer facing his greatest court case. 1939

July 17, 2013, The Littlest Rebel. Shirley Temple's father, a rebel officer, sneaks back to his rundown plantation to see his family and is arrested. A Yankee takes pity and sets up an escape. Everyone is captured and the officers are to be executed. Shirley and "Bojangles" Robinson beg President Lincoln to intercede. 1935
