Letter 7

Fan letter to the Herbert Hoover Presidential Museum.

April 23, 1996

Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for letting us come. We really had fun at the museum. The special effects were really cool in the Iowa exhibit. Your were really nice to show us around.

This was the first time I had been to the Herbert Hoover Museum and I was stunned.

My favorite thing was the huge world with the wheat symbols on it. I also liked the wigwam and the teepee. There were a lot of interesting items in the gift shop.

Thanks again,

Sarah

Visitors to the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library-Museum in West Branch, Iowa, enter through a rotunda recalling Mr. Hoover's half century of famine relief efforts. A 16 foot red granite map on the floor identifies 57 nations and over one billion people who were fed by "The Great Humanitarian"
