May 26,
1993 Dear
Guide, I am
pleased that you gave your time to give us a tour
of the Herbert Hoover Museum. I really like the
book you gave us. It has a lot of interesting facts
in it. You treated us like presidents. It was fun
to sit in the chair Ronald Reagan sat
in. The
statues of Herbert were really neat. I liked the
Roaring 20's exibit because of the really old
things. It was cool to see Babe
Ruth's bat.
The clothes and toys were neat too. I learned
a lot of things! I never knew Herbert Hoover
was a Quaker. I thought it was funny when
Herbert
grew a mustache
and got the job. I thought it was kind of him to
feed the hungry. If I was
Herbert Hoover I do not know if I would have given
my salery to charity. Herbert Hoover was a very
nice man. It would be terrible to live in an old
tin shack but it would be wonderful to find gold. I
liked it when we got to see part of the
Berlin
Wall. One thing
why I would not like to be Herbert Hoover is I
would not like the whole county to be mad at me. I
am upset if one or two people are mad at me, so I
would really be mad if the country was mad at
me. Thanks a
whole lot for giving us the tour! You were really
nice to us! Yours
truly, Lindsey |
